An Academic Gap Year in an international environment

What shall I study? What is important for my future? Those are questions every high school graduate has in mind. Our Foundation Year supports and guides you to find the answers to those questions. Try out different study areas, prepare for undergraduate courses and collect up to 45 transferable ECTS credits. If you already know your field of interest you can create a smooth transfer into your Bachelor studies.

Our academic advisors and experienced instructors provide professional guidance in your transition to undergraduate studies. Enjoy small class sizes, individual assistance and state-of-the-art facilities. Profit from personal academic advising, career counselling and an individualized academic curriculum that you can adapt to your own interests and needs. Beside academic advisors, the Foundation Year team and our professors, we have service offices for any questions you might have, such as Student Records Office, Career Service Centre or Campus Life.

Application requirement & deadlines

All students who obtain a high school diploma or local equivalent prior to the start of the program and who possess English language skills equivalent to the B1 level of the European Framework may apply to the Foundation Year Program. The application process is selective and seeks out motivated students who show both the intellectual and social promise to thrive in a diverse international study environment.
